Bali Video

Bali is afternoon naps and beach walks. Infinity pools and lazy mornings. Strong coffee and fresh fruit. Late night pool swims and peanut sauce on veggies. It’s dodgy bathrooms, power outages and stylish bars during sunset. It’s saltwater in your hair and chlorine on your skin. The smell of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Old ceiling fans and surfboards mounted on scooters. It’s palm trees and dark storm clouds rolling in over the ocean. It’s learning how to drive a motorbike and sand between your toes.
It’s everything I thought it would be and more.

# The Road Wander

I’m aware that I’m a horrible travel blogger but I don’t think I’ve found the right words for my summer yet. I should have by now, but the truth is that you can’t rush reflection. I certainly can’t rush words, – especially not those capable of describing this summer. It’s been a lot of fun, that much I can tell you.

In lieu of more words or pictures, let me leave this fun little video here.

Dear Gina, I miss this every day. I miss you. Thanks for letting me tag along.
Dear America, thanks for being nothing but kind and welcoming to me.
Dear self, take the life lessons, take the good memories, keep both forever. Learn and grow.

Two girls. Three weeks. Eleven cities. Nine states. One car. A pack of cellery. A friendly dog. Tons of live music and maybe one drink too many every once in a while: The greatest summer adventure there ever was.

Western Trail

I’m still having a hard time finding the right words to adequately describe my summer, but I made good on my promise to film more while traveling and as a result I can now present you with this little video. I’ve had a great time and saw amazing things.
If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive and adventurous way to travel you might want to check out Green Tortoise. Their bus travel really didn’t feel like a bus travel at all.

Zanzibar

It might take me a couple of months but in the end I do get around to making these videos and I love making them almost as much as I love watching them. So many good memories.
As I’ve said before, my weekend in Zanzibar was magical. It was filled with so many good things it’s hard to pick just one. Here’s a tiny glimpse of what we did and how it looked like.

I’m neither a professional filmer, not editer of clips, so excuse the amateur quality. I hope you still have fun watching this :)

In case you didn’t know, I also made videos of my Safari trip and of my time in Thailand. Go have a look? :)

Into the wild

Quick video of my Safari trip in July. Pictures are to come as soon as I have the patience to sort through them and edit them, so soon, together with stories, tips and everything else I might want to talk about :)
