I love nothing more than to see the world. I love to explore wide landscapes, swim in the sea, drive through the endless savannah. Glaciers and deserts, jungles and lakes. But these hills? These hills are deep sighs and content smiles. They are home.
It always takes me a long time to shoot a roll of film. In this case I started back in July and just recently finished it and got the pictures developed.
It’s always like opening a present – you never quite know what to expect but in this case I’m incredibly pleased with the results.
These pictures were taken on a particularly cold and foggy day in my hometown just a few minutes outside of Vienna. Winter this year has been incredibly long and strong but I think we’ve survived and spring’s just around the corner.
/Shot with my granddad’s old Canon A1 and Kodak TMax 400 black and white film.
